FIRST FLOOR

The house is entered on the first floor from its own balcony via double doors. All doors and windows are double glazed and were newly installed in 2019.

The dining room is double height, into the wooden gabled roof and there is an oak dining table with eight dining chairs. The flooring is oak and the walls painted brick. Large Velux windows flood the space with light.

A comfortable leather seat, with storage beneath, connects the dining room to the kitchen, which has an electric oven and gas hob, plus fridge freezer. There is also storage in the hall for coats, vacuum cleaner, ironing board etc.

Stairs lead up to the mezzanine lounge or down to the bedrooms.

MEZZANINE

The mezzanine would have been the original hayloft. Although it is up in the eaves, it is spacious, with double Velux windows. The floor is laminate and a ladder of bookshelves offers lots of storage,

The seven stables share a yard, which is well tended and very green in the summer. The access to the yard is discreetly tucked between two houses on Ashfield Street, and is very secure. Visitors can be buzzed in using a buzzer in the dining room..

The large terrace provides access to the house on the first floor, and is reached via a spiral staircase. Although no storage is allowed in the yard, we do allow the parking of cycles.
